This weekend we were challenged by several things in the message. Particularly we were challenged in the area of our understanding about the Supremacy of Christ. God convicted me with a thought that entire morning and that simple twist of the mind was this: Celebrate God as Glorious!
If we were to define the glory or the gloriousness of God in terms of how we respond to that revealed glory we need only turn to Exodus 33. Stop right now, get out your Bibles, and read Exodus 33:12-23....don't worry...I'll wait....

AWESOME ISN'T IT! When Moses pleads, "Please, show me your glory," it reminds me of a desperate plea from a heart that longs to love and know God fully. It's a great moment in the journey of Moses. Moses can't even look upon the face of God because His glory is far too intense for humans to behold. It's so intense that if we were to look at it directly we would die...probably from a massive heart attack...GOD'S GLORIOUSNESS IS THAT OVERWHELMING! After this experience Moses was not the same man. Not only did he glow, literally, he fundamentally altered as a human being. That's how it is for those that have been genuinely tackled by the glory of God. They CHANGE.
Does the glory of God affect you daily? If so, how so? I want to share a prayer with you that I read earlier today:
"Lord God, your glory stretches farther than we could ever imagine. Have your glory today. Have your glory in this place, in our lives, in this moment. God, let us see your glory and once again be changed. Your glory has always been and will forever be! Amen."
As you go through your week remember that prayer. Internalize it this week and find more words than just these to express your personal worship to God. Celebrate God's vast gloriousness...do this in song, in prayer, in study, in service, in confession, in repentence and all the other ways that God calls us to fall before Him.
